3rd Annual Mini-Workshop & Stash Sale Fundraiser - September 22nd, 2007
This year the focus of the workshop was "Serger Saturday". Louise Beaman, CSE, from Franklin IN was our guest instructor and presented her Trunk Show of garments created with a serger. After the trunk show presentation, there were 3 break-out sessions offered. The workshop sessions were Advanced Serger Techniques with Louise Beaman, Beginner Session instructed by Georgia Legler and an Introduction to Sergers presented by Lisa Kohli from Edwards Sewing Center.
The Stash Sale Fundraiser was offered in the afternoon. The sale was open to all chapter members. Many members donated fabric and other sewing related items to the stash sale. Whether the donations were made to let fabric find a new creative home or just plain donated to make room for new stash, the great bargains were appreciated by our shoppers. Thanks to all that made those donations.
There were 35 participants at "Serger Saturday". Our sincere appreciation to those that supported this Chapter event.
