2nd Annual Chapter Bus Trip - April 28th, 2007
Saturday, April 28th turned out to be a wonderful day for our Chapter's 2nd Annual Bus Trip. We had 40 members and 13 guests traveling the Michigan roadways to visit 3 fabric stores. It was a wild dash for more stash!
The three stops made were The Shops at Marshall House in Marshall, Michigan, Country Stitches in East Lansing and finally, Field's Fabrics in Kentwood (Grand Rapids). We would like to express our gratitude to each of these locations for the wonderful service, special offers, discounts, and give-a-ways they provided our Chapter. For our bus trippers, it was a 1st timer event for many and garnered great reviews from all! If you ever have the chance to shop hop into Michigan, these 3 stores are highly recommended!
Our Chapter provided 30 gift certificate prizes ($5 and $10) to show our appreciation to those that supported this event. Also, we would like to thank our Bus Tour Hostess, Kathy Gardiner-Norris and our driver, Neal (with and N - inside bus joke!). We had a great time and can hardly wait to see where we'll go next year on the 3rd Annual Bus Trip!
