ASG Fort Wayne Chapter Annual Meeting
On Saturday, October 31st, the Fort Wayne Chapter of the American Sewing Guild held our Chapter Annual Meeting at Shoaff Park River Lodge. After a short business meeting which included Chapter Advisory Board elections, we were treated to table top demonstrations featuring members from different Neighborhood Groups. A wide range of topics were presented. It's so wonderful to see our members in action sharing their love of sewing!
The day ended with door prizes and member participation in looking to our future. The majority of door prizes were donated by our Neighborhood Groups. Most of those were handmade items created by the NGs. You are very much appreciated for your generosity. Not only for the prizes, but sharing your time and friendship throughout this past year in the Neighborhood Group environment. Thank you! The Chapter has already taken one of the suggestions made and set it as a spring chapter event. Thanks to Rosie Strothman for chairing this new event.
Our CAB is very grateful for all the member participation in our events. We appreciate your enthusiasm and suggestions that help us serve you and keep our Chapter not only thriving but growing into a vibrant organization.
